Halswell Quarry Park Trip


Halswell Quarry Park Trip

At the Quarry we learnt about the types of rock at the Quarry, the history of the people who lived and worked there, the importance of the sister city gardens and finally we planted some Kahikatea (white pine) trees.

Clay Workshop


Room 20 students really enjoyed the opportunity to experiment with clay on Monday afternoon, in a workshop run by the Christchurch City Art Gallery.  Each student created a clay plate with designs on it that were made from everyday "junk" objects found around the home.
